WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A PTO MEMBER? 

• Joining the PTO keeps you connected and active in our school.  PTO members have access to an online directory of other Benfield PTO parents, enjoy PTO member discounts, and receive exclusive PTO e-mail updates for timely reminders throughout the year. If you join the PTO you are not required to volunteer although if you are interested we would love to have you join our team.

Do I need to sign up to become a PTO member each school year?

• PTO membership is $10 and lasts for the school year. The PTO drive take place in the fall, but you can join any time of the year.

WHY DO I NEED TO GIVE TO THE PATRONS’ DRIVE?

• Giving to the Patrons’ Drive eliminates the need for students to conduct door-to-door fundraising. Your donation is 100% tax deductible and goes directly to Benfield students! The PTO suggests a donation of $50 per Benfield student.  However, every donation is appreciated!

HOW IS MY DONATION TO THE PATRONS’ DRIVE USED?

• Giving teachers funds to defray the cost of classroom materials they would otherwise pay
  for themselves or ask parents
• Planning for future programs and assemblies
• Supplies and maintenance of outdoor classroom
• Educational support to supplement curriculum 

WHAT WILL MY DONATION GO TOWARDS THIS YEAR?

• Your donations this year will go towards enhancing the students experience and giving back to our teachers at Benfield. Examples including but not limited to; assemblies, events for the students to enjoy, outdoor and indoor beautification, teacher and wish lists.

HOW CAN I MAKE A GIFT?
